Using WAZ to navigate
After downloading the WAZ application you need to allow access to your phone’s location via GPS. Terms and say yes and you better navigate. Millions of users who are actively and passively contributing countless data points create perfectly accurate maps. As Waze tracks you on the road, the app automatically judges the speed of your vehicle in any road weather free or busy weather.
If you’re walking slowly and a few other users are slowing down in the same place on the same type of road, it will assume a traffic jam. The application distills all of this into the traffic data you need to view on the screen. Road closures due to extensive construction are presented correctly and in a timely manner.
While you’re driving, Waze will notify you via pop-ups of what happened on the road in front. Slow traffic, incidents and accidents and police presence and speed camera notifications are among the possible triggers. Once you stop at a red light or park your car, it sometimes shows pop-up ads for nearby businesses.
Once in driving mode, you can control the app via voice commands to stay handsfree and safe. This voice input uses your phone’s native voice input system, for example, typing Google Voice into the Android version of the app. If you want to know more about WAZE – GPS, maps and traffic, you can take a look Wage Support Center For more information.
