When scanning a QR code, you will be automatically taken to the site if the code contains the URL of a website. If the code contains text only, you will see it immediately. You will be asked to take appropriate action for other formats such as phone number, email address or contact information.
Product barcode
The QR Code Reader recognizes all of the popular barcode types (UPC, EN, and ISBN) and shows you prices, reviews, and more about any product you scan. Barcode scanning requires a new device to work reliably. The camera on older devices does not provide the resolution or focus needed to scan the barcode.
