The launcher icon does nothing effective! Don’t open it when you read it! This application works by using custom quick tiles. By fully opening the notification shadow, add the tile by tapping the pencil or “ADIT” and dragging the “hide groove” to the active area. Android screen overlays prevent you from appearing on the lockscreen, so this app won’t work when the device is locked and can’t work!
Zenfone 5 users:
After installing, reboot if the tile doesn’t show up in your Quick Settings menu. This is a ZenUI bug!
You have a notched phone, you probably can’t. If you do, you may find it annoying to find this black spot in the middle of a light-colored status bar most of the time.
If this description fits you, you probably want this app. Nacho notches the status bar while the device is in portrait, making it more appropriate with the notch (making it “hidden”).
Even if you don’t have a notch, but want a black status bar, you can also use the app. It dynamically detects the height of your statusbar, so you don’t work with too low or too high a height or Phoenix manual size.
